Madison, WI - MS Walk anyone going?

Just wondering if anyone will be attending the Madison, WI walk?

It would be fun to meet some other "MS Worlders"!

Wish I could- can't even walk down my driveway anymore because of balance issues. Well, a weak leg doesn't help much either. Kudos to everyone that can still do these things! I give you all a big -- You go girl!!

THANKS CasinoKathy, ((hugs)) to you! I was also worried about the walking (fatigue, occasional leg weakness, and possible RA diagnosis still looming (pain in feet)) - so I decided to be a volunteer. This way I can still raise money and meet some really awesome MS supporters and patients!

Also, been meaning to ask you... did you ever drive a motorcycle (I know you are a passenger!)? One of my dreams is to learn to drive a motorcycle after graduation, but now with a possible RA dx and pain in my hands I don't know if it will happen. My dad is a "big" Harley guy and I thought it would be fun to ride with him.

No, I have never been the driver. Even before my sx reared their ugly head, I would never have had the strength to hold the bike upright- even with a lighter weight one. Sure hope it works for you though. That would be awesome to ride alongside your dad! Guess I will keep being the "back seat driver-- I mean "sleeper"- I do occasionally take a short cat nap back there on hot sunny days out in the country!! I have wrap around arm rests so I am wedged in pretty good between those and hubby.
