Janet Evanovich books

When life is too serious (politics, our MS, wars, etc.) I love to read Janet E. I find myself laughing throughout the book. Her Stephani Plum series is great when you need to lighten up a bit.

I like her stories, and her characters. A friend of mine is working her way through the series in audio books, and said that they, too, are very engaging.

If you are looking for another series with a kick-tail heroine you should try Sue Grafton A is for Alibi, B is for Burglar, C is for Corpse series.

Lots of fun reading, I believe she is up to letter V

I agree with the Sue Grafton series. I also really like Clive Cussler's series about Dirk Pitt.

I have been a mystery fan since I was a child and read Nancy Drew, Trixie Belton, Cherry Ames and Vicki Barr. I have fond memories of those stories. When I had foot surgery this year and was stuck at home forever, I reread my favorite childhood mysteries. They were as good now as they were then.

Today I am still a mystery fan and keep an excel sheet with authors ranked so I can quickly find one I like when I am at the library.

Janet E books are great! I love the sense of humor that is in the books-like Grandma Mazer and Lulu and all the others. I frequently laugh out loud when reading her books. And I even reread them, too.

I have read all the Plum books and the Diesel spin offs.
Kim Harrison's The Hollows series are good.
About a witch "runner", a pixie and her vampire partner that start their own private investigation company.

Fun reads, quick no commitment books.
The Chocolate chip murder series (hannah swensen) is good too.

Your description of the series by Kim Harrison sounds just my sort of read, thanks for the recomendation will hunt them down at the Library.
