Smile Aid needed from a young Chinese MSer

Hi guys ,I am so glad that I can find a forum like this and this is my first post here;

I am a 28 year old guy with 11 years with MS( diagnosised in May 2011) and my symptoms has been pretty mild ( no significant walking problem, slight fatigue and inability to think clearly),I have been taking some Chinese herbal medicine since 2010 and that miraculously removed my fatigueness and other problems including sore leg and arms.however my sexual ability has been degenerating ever since I got MS with no sign of recovering or even a sign of stabilizing;I now have to use vigara to maintain the ability but even the effect of the medicine had been decreasing, I have a very loving gf that I wish to marry and I just can't imagine her reaction should she knew about it;I know it's an embarrassing question but I would really really appreciate sharing from anyone who had similar experience and recovered or stabilized through taking either medication or food supplements;thank you very much!

Have you been to the doctor about it? There are many, many options these days, even for difficult cases. In case you are not aware, there are several newer drugs. Also, there are external pumps that you use before sex and there are pumps which are installed in your penis and you just pump it up like a tire when you need it

I would have a full investigation to make sure it's the MS and then see what they offer.

Also, make sure that none of the herbs or any drugs you are taking can have an effect. I would find a good naturopath who understands Chinese medicine as well as Western.

Finally eliminate any physical causes that might hamper you, i.e. smoking, overweight, drinking, lack of exercise, etc.

Finally, most guys actually worry about this more than women. If this is a woman who loves you and wants to marry you, then she will be OK with you and you should share your issue with her at the appropriate time.

Does she know you have MS?

Unhappy

Thanks a lot for your advices and information,I was diagnosised by three top hospitals in china that I got MS so there's no doubt about it, she doesn't know I have MS but she sensed my decline in sexual ability, I really think that I need to sit down with her and have this conversation;But it really feels awful when you see opportunities slip away just because your inability to think clearly and see the disappointment on her face because of unsatisfactory sex ...and it's horrible to think that maybe one day I might not be able to make love...

I think what BigA was trying to say was to go see the doctor to be sure that the problem you are having is related to your MS, not to be sure that you actually have MS.
