MS HUG I'M CONFUSED...

In the past few years I have ended up in the ER three times, with what we thought was a Gallbladder attack. Severe pain under the right rib cage radiating to my back, it hurt to breath. I was extremely stressed during one attack, not sure if that brought it on, I've had slight pain on and off but nothing that took my breath away.

The Doctor would do an ultra sound and never find a Gallstone, the pain would subside in a few hours. Is that what you have experienced with the MS HUG??

Thank you for any advice you can give me..

I get pain under breasts on rib cage but not severe. They also feel like spasms. It could be the ms hug. I get pain on my sternum. My doctor said its thoracic pressure. Hope to have helped.

Hi Lisa,

I experienced something very similar to what you were describing.
Piercing, radiating pains, first around the left side of my ribs;
then the right side; then finally one strait thru the heart and
out between two vertebrae in my back. Like you, a trip to
the ER, where they thought gallbladder as well. Ended up
being an allergic reaction to a sulpha antibiotic for a UTI.

This was long (decades) before anyone said boo about
MS. Now you've got me wondering as well.....that seemingly
endless quandary: Is the new SX from MS, or something
else.

Make a note of it in your symptom log...dates, times, duration,
any specifics you can remember....you never know.

Take care of you,

me
