Low Fat Blondies

submitted by Samantha Faryna, aka samanthalynn

1/3 cup white flour
1/3 cup wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 beaten egg
1/4 cup of veggie oil or canola oil
1/2 cup chocolate chips (or in my case Hershey's kisses chopped up in a food processor!)

Preheat oven to 350°, mix first 5 ingredients together in a medium sized bowl until well combined.  Stir in egg and oil, batter will be VERY thick! Fold in chocolate chips until well mixed.  Put batter in an 8 inch pan and make sure that it is even.  Put into your preheated oven for 20-25 mins.

Cool pan on a wire rack, once cooled down cut and enjoy...makes 12 bars!
