Pumpkin Spiced Latte

submitted by Samantha Faryna,
aka samanthalynn

This recipe you can really play around with and add more or less of spices, espresso, milk, sweetener to suit your taste!  I got bored one day, and really started to miss Dunkin Donuts pumpkin latte and I came up with this!

2-3 teaspoons espresso powder
4-6 ozs boiling water
2 cups steamed milk
1 packet of sweet-n-low or sugar to taste
½-1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice or to taste

Get a larger coffee mug (one that will hold 2 ½ to 3 cups of liquid, add the espresso and boiling water.
To steam the milk just add the milk to a small pot and whisk over medium heat until just before boiling (it will be frothy with bubbles from whisking).
Add your pumpkin spices and sweetener, whisk it all up then add to your espresso!

You can dress it up for company with some whipped cream and chocolate shavings or it can be made into an after dinner drink and add a little espresso vodka!
