I have on the top of my right foot a patch of skin that if you touch it..it feels like it is burned..but there is nothing there. That is all the time..it never goes away.

Also have what can only be described as "Electrical Bugs" that crawl down from my right shoulder to my shoulder blade.

It happens every day and the more times it happens in a row..the more sensitive to the touch my skin is to the point where touching it is painful..like the skin is burnt.

Also been having itching on the back of my neck every day...annoying! :/

    Fiery Feet

I've got a spray bottle and was up last night spraying my legs and feet. I know it's weird but beyond the discomfort it was kind of... fun? At the very least I felt a sense of power that I could do something back. I battled ms. : ) I retreated eventually and took a xanax. But I lasted til 3 and enjoyed 4 episodes of Bleak House. I'm battle-weary tonight so I took one earlier. Still I might get a squirt gun. : )

I'm in limbo, but I also sometimes have to look at my foot because I feel like some drops of water fell on my foot. Nothing there. Today I have this weird sensation like a band going around my upper left calf. It's not numb, I push it & I sorta get a prickly sensation but hard to explain.
I'm also getting my "grips" (my word for it) around my torso, but it's not too bad right now.
All these sensations are hard to explain.

No difficulties with a pen, but I just started having attacks with numbness on my face and fingers and tips of my finger...weird..

I'm new here as well, and a limbo-lander! Going to see an MS neuro specialist in a week, so this could be MS, or just my crazy body doing crazy things as usual.

The numb bum made me laugh out loud!! I hate when that happens, and the toilet paper on top omg! It's such a strange feeling. It's happened to me a few times now. My poor housemate asked if I could unload the dishwasher, and here I am waddling past "I can't! Not now! I have a numb bum!" - not my finest moment LOL

I had a burning sensation under my left eye and on top of my left cheek that felt like it was on fire! I had the make-up wipes out wiping away my make-up, I got an ice pack out thinking what the heck is this?! lol, turns out it's just another strange symptom.

When my toe first went numb I sat there for like 3 hours wiggling it around and stretching it. Ughh very annoying. That lasted for a week. Such an annoying feeling!

    So many!

My feet will feel hot, or they will be freezing, but not to the touch. I also get "buzzing" (vibrations) deep in the bottoms of my feet. My daughter calls them micro spasms. The buzzing gets so bad, I can not tolerate anything touching them. I have it all the time, not as bad, but have not figured out what causes it to intensifie.
    MS, it's a brain thang!

I have PAINFUL skin that started before Christmas. My skin feels like it's been rubbed with sandpaper, and should be bleeding. Patches of skin are actually red as though irritated. It was confusing because medical definitions of Paresthesia don't refer to painful skin, or painful sensations. Clothing touching my skin, sitting with my back against the back rest, my skin against the bed sheets at night. Excruciating pain and impossible to sleep.

Add to the 'joy of MS' is the fact that I'm either allergic to the common central pain meds, or can't tolerate the side effects.

I've had many verities of Paresthesia, sensations of bugs crawling, water dripping, numbness, ice cold extremities., etc. Thankfully I've been spared the TP butt crack sensation.

    Hope everyone experiences some relief.

Hi and yes I am having this along with my other problems I have even got to the stage of writing (scratching) with my left hand instead of my right, if and when I have to send a note to school in the past I have had the note returned requiring an explanation as they thought my child had written it, so now I send a note and tell my son to explain why it looks like crap to their teacher. On another topic I get an itchy spot on my back where I can't reach it feels like a mole but there is nothing there also from time to time hot spots I really hate MS Craig

    Love you all!

Every time I think I'm totally nuts, I come on here, see the symptoms I'm looking for, and feel " normal"

Calling my Neuro today. I'm practically drawing blood , itching.

    Unhappy Handwriting just got worse

Quote Originally Posted by naaustin View Post

Yes!! I don't usually write a lot (mainly type at work), but just did two interviews back to back where I was trying to write notes regarding the answers as they were given. By the second interview, I could hardly hold the pen anymore, and my writing looks like sh*t. I used to have pretty good handwriting, but it has definitely deteriorated in the past month or so.

Another thing to go onto my list for my neurologist when I see him in January.

    Buzzing in legs and groin

I also get buzzing in my lower legs. But the most disconcerting is the buzzing in my groin. It's not like I am always in a position to check and make sure everything's okay down there! But no toilet paper in the crack, yet. (Sorry, I just LOL when I read that!!)

Yeah. I am experiencing the itchy, crawling sensation around left shoulder blade. So annoying. Had this before. Takes weeks to go away. These are the things we have to put up with.

Your itching goes away?! I'm in limbo, but the right side of my face, both thighs, and ears constantly itch and tingle.

My neurologist said to use benadryl cream. It only helps for a few minutes.

I also sometimes get the bugs crawling all over feerfeerlung, and the feeling I have stray hair on my face. Nothing is there.
